The environment in which we work is exciting, constantly changing and always full of surprises. This services profile is provided to demonstrate where we currently are and what we are currently doing, however, because of constant change it can only ever be a snapshot. The values which remain constant are the interest we have in what we do, our enthusiasm and determination to improve, and whenever necessary, our ability to extend the services we offer.
Product Sourcing and Procurement
Leaning heavily on past experience and a strong network of supply sources throughout the UK and the rest of Europe, we are able to source furniture to satisfy the majority of requirements. This ability to source the right furniture and associated products, in line with the ongoing development of our procurement skills, ensures that we are able to achieve “best value for money” in the majority of situations.
Through a proven network of shipping, transport and warehousing companies, all with extensive furniture handling experience, we are able to organise the safe, reliable and cost-effective transportation of products from within the UK, Europe and other parts of the world.
Due to the diverse nature of our client base and the ever-changing industry within which we work, it is imperative that we provide an installation service, which is able to adapt to any given requirement. Every project is different. This difference could be in application (office, hotel, auditorium etc), in size (single workstation to complete HQ fit out etc), or in location (Liverpool, Glasgow, London etc).
To satisfy this requirement we have access to teams of experienced furniture fitters working from service centres, throughout the UK.
Reconfiguration, Repairs and Maintenance
Our client contact does not end when we complete an installation. Our installation teams ensure that all product warranties are honored. In addition, we are also able to provide a competitively priced, repair and maintenance service. This can be organised via a “planned maintenance contract” or on a more casual basis, if preferred. The reconfiguration of previous installations also represents a very important part of our ongoing client service.
Supply / Services Management
To ensure that all of the services we offer live up to expectations, a project coordinator is appointed to manage every order/project. Whether it is a single supply order or a fully packaged project, the same person will always oversee the process from start to completion.
Additional professional services such as, interior design or architecture, are not provided in-house. We are able to offer advice on space planning issues relating to specific furniture systems but normally prefer to work with client appointed designers and architects. If professional services of this kind are required but not already in place, we are able to recommend firms for consideration.
We have experience of working with some of the very best people in these fields and are always delighted to be able to share our experience This service can then either become a separate, client controlled point of contact, or be included as part of our own package.
ff+e supply management
As an alternative to our normal sourcing and supply packages, we are also able to offer a fully coordinated ‘fee based’ project management service. This service formalises our normal activities on a consultancy basis, providing a complete and comprehensive system for the sourcing, procurement, tracking and quality controlling of all activities, including the installation of furniture, fixtures and equipment.
The advantages of using this ‘consultancy’ service are most visible on major projects were we are able to deliver major cost savings via direct, ex factory supplies, for our clients. Information on the full scope of this service is available, on request.
